GOVERNMENT SURVEY
BPCA members are being encouraged to take part in HMRC’s Tell ABAB survey, which is now open.
Take survey

The survey is commissioned by the Administrative Burdens Advisory Board (ABAB), an independent body that gives HMRC feedback on the issues facing small businesses. It helps ABAB challenge HMRC and push for a tax system that works better for business owners.
Lorraine Norton, BPCA Operations Manager, said:
“BPCA members are busy people, so it’s important that opportunities like this are easy to take part in and worth the time.
If tax admin and HMRC processes are affecting your business, this survey is a chance to make those challenges heard. It only takes around 15 minutes to complete, and the feedback could help shape improvements for small businesses in the future.

The survey is open until 29 April 2026. Results will be published on GOV.UK in the Tell ABAB Report in autumn 2026.
The survey is hosted on Microsoft Forms.
